Reflection: Wow, my ‘one man team’ comment could not be more apt; Arshavin absolutely ran the show today! He bagged a superb hattrick and one thing’s for certain - had it not been for signing the Russian playmaker, we’d never have survived. He’s been outstanding through all the time he’s been playing for us. This match in particular.
As you can probably tell by my upbeat tone to the above paragraph, we only went and bloody survived! Yes, against all odds we did it. Wigan got hammered 4-0 by United as predicted and Fulham, who were drawing 1-1 with 10-men Portsmouth until Milan Baros scored in literally the last minute of the match. This means we’ve leaped two places on the final day of the season to survive!
This current game has been something of a rollercoaster, but now it has finished. I’ve really enjoyed this file, so thanks toi Dave for setting a good challenge. I’ll be submitting my screenshots now!
